1. Booking Confirmation & Payments

A booking with Tropianza Adventures is confirmed once a written confirmation is issued by our reservations desk along with the required deposit payment:

• Custom Safaris & Multi-Day Treks: A 30% deposit is required upon booking confirmation to secure lodge reservations and national park permits. The remaining 70% balance is payable 30 days prior to arrival or via agreed verified arrangement upon arrival in Tanzania.
• Day Tours & Excursions: Bookings can be confirmed with a 20% deposit or full advance payment.
• Airport & Ferry Transfers: Direct transfers can be booked online and confirmed instantly via WhatsApp or email.
• Payment Methods: We accept major international credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank wire transfers, and local mobile money services.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. In the event of a cancellation by the client, the following refund schedule applies:

• More than 45 days prior to arrival: 100% refund of deposit, minus any non-refundable national park permits or flight tickets already issued.
• 30 to 44 days prior to arrival: 70% refund of total trip cost.
• 15 to 29 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of total trip cost.
• Less than 14 days prior to arrival / No-Show: Non-refundable due to non-recoverable lodge and transport allocations.

3. Travel Insurance & Health Requirements

All clients traveling with Tropianza are strongly advised to have comprehensive international travel and medical insurance that covers personal injury, medical emergency, evacuation, baggage loss, and trip cancellation.

• Yellow Fever & Health Guidelines: Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required when entering Tanzania from or transiting through endemic countries. Anti-malarial precautions and insect repellent are recommended.
• Mountain Trekking: Kilimanjaro and Meru trekkers must undergo physical health checks and acclimatization readiness prior to summit attempts.

4. Safari & Tour Operational Guidelines

Tropianza adheres strictly to Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) and Zanzibar Marine Reserve safety standards:

• All safari vehicle game drives are guided by certified professional wildlife rangers and driver guides.
• Clients must adhere to park regulations, wildlife viewing distances, and safety instructions provided by the safari guide at all times.
• Tropianza reserves the right to alter itineraries or accommodations of comparable standard due to unexpected road closures, weather conditions, or park authority directives.

5. Transfers & Car Rental Terms

For private vehicle rentals and chauffeured transfers:

• Self-drive clients must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) and temporary Zanzibar driving permit (which we arrange for you).
• Chauffeured safari land cruisers include an experienced driver guide and comprehensive commercial safari insurance.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Tropianza respects your privacy. Personal data (names, passport copies for park permits, email addresses, and phone numbers) are used strictly for reservation management, flight/park registration, and customer service. We never sell or share your data with unauthorized third parties.
